Wild Brooches is a Canberra-based online business. We are Australia’s Official Stockist for French Designer, Marie-Christine Pavone and have one of the largest selections of Pavone Brooches available online. We are also a long-term stockist of Erstwilder brooches and accessories and have been supporting this small Australian company since they opened for business in 2011. We love supporting local artists and you will find a large number of boutique brands in our store – most of which are small independent makers from Australia (and a small number from the UK)
We use Australia Post for all our deliveries. As a small business (of one) I aim to have your order processed and packed within 2-4 working days from the time of order (this may sometimes take a little longer on a big release day). I work full time and manage Wildbrooches in the evenings, so please be aware of the timeframes for processing of orders. I will do my best to get your order packed as quickly as I can.
Due to the Pandemic, mail services are slow. The Australia Post website provides current updates on delays to services. I send email tracking notifications to the email you provide with your order. Please ensure you enter a working email, and please check your spam folder if you do not receive a tracking number.
ABOUT OUR PRODUCTS
Each Erstwilder design is limited edition and we normally stock between 12 -48 of each design. We release at the same time as Erstwilder. We do our best to order more of what we think will be popular, but we don’t always get it right, and sometimes we can’t get as much stock as we would like. We do what we can to get the best range possible for you, our wonderful customers.
Each Pavone pieces is a unique work of art that takes three weeks to make. Each brooch is hand cut from vintage sheets of Galalith and is then polished and hand-painted. These are one-of-a-kind pieces. I order stock regularly and aim to have 400-500 pieces in stock so that there is a wide variety to select from. I welcome requests, but can not guarantee that I can source “exact” brooches – only styles and general colours from current designs.
We do not accept returns for change of mind. In the rare event that you receive a faulty product that has been damaged in transit please lodge a claim through Australia Post. All parcels are insured for $100. You will be required to present the packaging along with the damaged item for Australia Post to assess. They may request that you surrender the item in order to be compensated for damage caused by transit. All products are inspected prior to dispatch and are well packaged. In the rare instance I miss a minor flaw please contact me to discuss options. If you require additional insurance please advise at time of purchase. Insurance costs $2.50 per $100 for domestic parcels and $8 per $100 for international parcels. If you wish to upgrade to express please contact me prior to ordering as I am not always able to pack and send immediately.
SALE ITEMS – we do not accept returns on SALE items. All sales on SALE items are final.
REFUNDS/CREDIT NOTES We do not normally issue refunds. If, by prior agreement, you return an item (due to either an error or, in the rate instance of a fault) you will be issued a credit note for the purchase amount of the item (excluding postage). If an item is damaged in transit you will need to lodge an insurance claim through Australia post. If you have made an error in ordering and ask to cancel an order we may be able to refund you if you agree to accept the liability for the non-refundable fees charged by the payment systems for your order. We will refund the amount (Minus the fees) or issue a credit note for the full amount.
