Each Erstwilder creation is made from layers of hand mixed resin, laser cut, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited edition. All of the metal components are made from a lead and nickel free base-metal. Each Erstwilder limited edition comes in its own unique Gift box for protection in transit. Wild Brooches takes every care to ensure your order arrives safely.
Care
Please be aware that these beautifully hand mixed resins should be treated the same way you would treat ceramic or glass products. They may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Keep your Erstwilder treasures neatly stored in their boxes when not being worn, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water and excessive sunlight. Hand mixed resins may have slight colour variations, striations or tiny bubbles. Hand painted features may have slight variations between brooches. These are not considered faults, rather add to the uniqueness of each and every piece.
Postage
For domestic postage we wrap your order in bubble wrap and tissue paper and use pre-paid satchels for transit (postage costs us between $10-15 per order using satchels, but we only charge $5 flat rate). For all overseas orders we send using small post boxes using both bubble wrap and tissue paper to protect your purchase (postage actually costs more than the flat rate when you factor in the box, bubble and tissue)
Domestic post using satchels works perfectly 99.5% of the time, however, should Australia Post damage your parcel (by treading on it or crushing it in transit – which can cause problems for both satchels and parcels alike) please let me know so we can lodge a claim. We have added an extra option for domestic satchels for those who would prefer a box with tracking ($15 per order)
