PLEASE NOTE THERE MAY BE SOME TARNISH ON THE PIN – THIS WILL WIPE OFF – Please refer to the Frequently Asked Questions on the www.erstwilder.com home page for information about the pins used and the tarnishing that occurs on the silver plating. This item is brand new and has been in storage. I have removed from the backing to give the pin a gently clean to remove the surface tarnish prior to sending. These pins tarnish due to the silver plating. This is clearly explained by erstwilder. If tarnish may bother you please do not purchase.
Please note there this brooch is missing one of the tiy feet. Still a very wearable piece of art. REDUCED for QUICK SALE for someone who doesn’t mind a bird with one foot.

One of only 3 parrots known to migrate, this bright beaked wanderer loves to get around. His hotel of choice? Eucalyptus trees or a nice tall shrub.
Each piece is made from laser cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand there can be finger print marks and very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand mixed nature of the resins in our our designs it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.
Brooch clasps, necklace chains and jump rings are made from silver-plated steel. Earrings hooks and posts are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel.
Please be aware that resin is akin to ceramic and glass and therefore may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Due to the use of high quality silver-plating in our brooch clasps, tarnishing and oxidisation can occur, producing black and gold discolouration. As with all silver products, you can simply restore it using a silver cloth. Keep your Erstwilder companion neatly tucked away in this box when not being worn, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water and excessive sunlight and you’ll have a trusted friend for years to come.
