Each piece is made from laser-cut and layered resin, hand assembled, hand painted and released in limited quantities. As all of our designs are lovingly glued, assembled and painted by hand there can be fingerprint marks and very slight variations and blemishes from piece to piece. Due to the hand-mixed nature of the resins in our designs, it is also common and normal to find tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. All in all, this just makes each piece as special and unique as you are.
We do not accept returns or provide refunds if your brooch has tiny flecks or bubbles in the resin layers. Any pieces that Wildbrooches deem to be imperfect are returned to Erstwilder or sold as imperfects. The brooch you are purchasing has been deemed to normal and may have tiny manufacturing flecks or bubbles as per Erstwilder’s manufacturing conditions. Please remember the resin is hand-mixed and air-bubbles can surface several days after pouring – they are normal – these brooches are not made from sheet acrylic – variations in hand-mixed resins are normal, variations in hand-painting is normal. Handmade means made by a person just like you and me so the occasional finger print (from the maker, the packer or even me as I inspect and add tissue paper for extra protection of your brooch) is normal.
Brooch clasps are made from plated brass. Earrings hooks and posts are made from high quality, hypoallergenic stainless steel. Occasionally clasps may tarnish – this can be cleaned with a soft cloth.

Please be aware that resin is akin to ceramic and glass and therefore may be damaged if dropped or knocked. Keep your Erstwilder companion neatly tucked away in this box when not being worn, avoid contact with perfumes, lotions, water and excessive sunlight and you”ll have a trusted friend for years to come.
